About Motomanipal

Motomanipal is a student-led motorcycle racing team from MIT Manipal, dedicated to engineering excellence and competitive motorsport. We design, build, and race high-performance motorcycles, pushing the boundaries of innovation and speed.

2018

Formation of Team

A group of MIT Manipal students united by motorsport and engineering.

2019

NOVA

Months of work culminated in MotoManipal's national debut, winning honours across key categories.

2020

Online Challenge Winners

Despite the pandemic, MotoManipal emerged Overall Winners of the FMAE Online E-Bike Design Challenge.

2021

Back-to-Back Champions

MotoManipal won back-to-back Overall Winner titles in the FMAE Online Challenge, then placed third in Season 3.

2022

Return to the Track

Back on-ground, MotoManipal won the inaugural Electric Bike Design Challenge at SRIT Coimbatore, plus Best Business Plan.

2024

ASHVA

ASHVA became the fastest bike yet — 132 km/h on track, 150 km/h on the dyno. At FMAE Season 3, MotoManipal won the Brake Test and placed Runner-up in Acceleration.

2025

KILO

KILO debuted with a 30% lighter aluminium frame, carbon-fiber fairings, and in-house Molicell battery packs. At FMAE Season 4, MotoManipal finished Overall Runner-up, plus Runner-up in Brake Test, Endurance, and Design Report.
